The higher the proportion of long-wave red and near-infrared light (NIR), the more pleasant and natural the light is for the human organism. These cell-friendly wavelengths are particularly gentle on the eyes and promote well-being. However, they require more energy than the short-wave, energy-efficient blue light of conventional LEDs.

2. Optimal ratio of blue and red components
