The magnetic clips (magnetic front filters) are available in the PRO99, LiTE95, EASY90, and DRiVE85 filter tints, ensuring that the right filter is available for every lighting scenario. Attaching the magnetic clips is so easy that you don’t even have to take off your glasses: two invisibly integrated magnets hold the magnetic clip—which weighs just 9 grams—securely in place on the frame as soon as it is held against it. This way, the glasses and clip not only combine to form a single optical unit but also offer maximum visual comfort, as stray light and unwanted reflections between the two layers are prevented.

At the heart of our bluelightprotect filters is a perfectly balanced blue light filtering effect combined with optimal color rendering, which is regularly tested using the world’s best measurement methods.

The high-quality filters, made from the finest raw materials, are hard-coated to achieve improved impact and scratch resistance, and a special clean coating ensures less smudging and easier cleaning of the lenses. However, the most important coating—especially when a clip is worn over prescription lenses—is the anti-reflective coating. A standard AR (anti-reflective) coating consists of two layers and reduces surface reflections. The OAR anti-reflective coating we use consists of 14 layers, which not only significantly reduces reflections but also increases the light transmission of the lenses.

Please note the following instructions for fitting prescription lenses into the PRiSMA VARiA1 and VARiA2 blue light filter glasses (with magnetic clip):
Prescription lenses must be fitted flush with the front surface (applies to both plus and minus lenses). For lenses exceeding +2.0 dpt, please use only lenses with a flatter curve or, if necessary, aspheric lenses. Be sure to observe the distance between the frame and the magnetic clip.
